Hanna Schosler defended her related PhD dissertation "Pleasure and Purity - an exploration of the cultural potential to shift towards more sustainable food consumption patterns in the Netherlands" in Amsterdam (VU Vrije Universiteit) on 5 October 2012.

In March 2011 the review paper "Future protein supply" appeared in a special issue of

Annet C. Hoek defended her PhD dissertation "Will Novel Protein Foods beat meat? Consumer acceptance of meat substitutes - a multidisciplinary research approach" in Wageningen (Aula) on 12 January 2010. This was the 7th PROFETAS doctorate. Only two more to go!
